S600 maintenance report

S600 maintenance report
Mine is a 2003, had it for more than a year now. It IS my daily driver and I beat on it every chance I get. So can't really blame the car! Here's what I have done so far in terms of "things that have gone wrong". It's got 60,000 miles on it.
- ABC pump
- Idler pulleys
- Distronic module
- AUX water pump
- Water pump
- Motor mounts/trans mounts
- Coil packs (thanks to the tune)
- Ignition transformer (thanks to the tune)
- Breather hose
- One way control valve for purge valve
- Various ABC hoses
- Control arms, tie rod ends etc
- Dual control valve for the climate control
- Diverter valves
- Radiator
- Transmission connector adapter
- Transmission conductor plate
- alot more I can't think of right now
So if your going to own one of these, have a BIG budget. I can feel my ABC going out again. It's a good thing I can save on labor.

Funny how you always have to cough up for coil packs whenever you get a tune!
I've had mine for a similar time, but it sounds like I've had it easy.
Mine has stock V12 18" alloys, but I'm thinking of upgrading. Which wheels do you have, and how do you get on with them?

I think BA is a DIY guy.
It seems to be the rule that people talk about the cost of their maintenance when they have a warranty, and they talk about the work that's been done when they wield their own spanners.
