airbag issue and possibly more..

Okay my 2005 s55 is making it hard for me to love it. I recently have an srs warning come on , after scanning I have found its a code 9007. This code indicates a vin mismatches, however nothing has been changed. It also has started clicking from the drivers seat belt area after driving for a bit. When this happens the radio almost mutes in time with the click. Any ideas?

+1

I had a bunch of odd codes happening last summer when I wasn't driving the car much. I changed the battery and it's been ok since. The car was starting fine and didn't have any other signs the battery was weak, but replacing it seemed to have rectified the problem.

Even a battery that tests good can be weak enough to cause electrical problems on a w220. They are extremely sensitive

I agree with everyone else. My car was doing all kinds of weird stuff from the door locks just popping up for no apparent reason, the dome lights flashing when I open the garage, you name it. Changed the battery and everything immediately stopped misbehaving. Sounds a bit crazy but it takes a lot of power to handle all the electronics on these cars.
