Do you need to program a door control module?

2000 S500.. I am going to buy a door control module on ebay. If the part numbers are the same will I have to program the new DCM with SDS or should it work as is? All functions on my current DCM work except for the window switch.. when I scanned it with SDS at my shop it told me that "The power window actuation is faulty. The relay in componant N69/2 (Right door control unit) does not operate" Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I doubt it but as long as you have SDS then you can initialize the door module with it if it requires it.

Finally got around to putting new DCM in today. Success! Window now works as well as all other functions of the DCM.. No need for SDS..
