RB Tech Kit
That kit is very easy to install... You don't even have to take your wheels off.
It's hard to fing now though. I finally gave up and made my own. Now I can tuck 20s if I wanted to. about 6 inches of travel all together.

I think there are some high end electronic kits, perhaps from Brabus(?) But you are talking about thousands of dollars.
I lowered mine and use the AirMatic to raise it up when needed. It goes up about an inch.
I have seen some other posts on here regarding the alternatives.
If you can find the RB Tech kit, that is probably the most economical legit way to do it.
Good luck!

Pros and Cons of Lowering
I know pros to lowering are better handling around turns and better appearance, but what are the cons? (if any) And for someone who has 20" wheels on an S class, are there any modifications to be made in order to lower the car without problems like rubbing? Thanks.

RBtech has a patent on its lowering kit.... its actually a really simple piece but since they got a patent they can sell it for a jacked up price.

are you referring to the rb tech kit or mercedes' method of lowering the car? i know you can adjust the height with rb tech's kit from 1.25" to 2" lower. I just wasn't sure how much lower the dealer can make it from simply adjusting the computer?
also, I have 20s on my S class, you think if I lowered it like 1.5" I'd have to have my fenders flared because I really wouldn't want to do that. Would I incur any problems like rubbing?

good tires and 20s still have a comfortable ride on the s-class cuz of the airmatic suspension. if your ride is really uncomfortable, it may be because you dont have enough air in your tires.
rb tech has a patent on the lowering kit. thats why they can charge such a ridiculous amount for such a tiny product that probably only cost $.50 to make!!

tmushy, are those real rb tech kits you can get, and what do they consist of?
Do you think they would void the warranty on the airmatic suspension/
Thanks

Its the real rb tech lowering kit and your right he does have a patent on it so no one else can make it.
He told me it wouldn't void warranty but I cant guarantee it.
if alot of people want em maybe i can get a group buy
email me at tmushy@socal.rr.com
I can have em to u by next week.
Whats included is just the peices needed. No instruction manual unless he has one then I can send it to you.
