Fuel Line - Disconnect and Spill or Leave
I am doing the Drivers side Valve Cover Gasket change.
I do see how on the 2000 S500 you can remove the gasket without undoing the fuel line and I dread having gasoline spill out onto the engine, explain to me how to do this correctly. I have seen the excellent DIY from the YachtMaster but his engine is different (and nearly flawless).
If there is a Step by Step for the W220 engine 113 please let me know.

Thanks.

its better to disconnect it because during reassembly, its easier to inspect your work to make sure the gasket has not unseated from the valve cover at the back of the head. Just have a few rags ready to soak up the fuel coming from the rail.
