Soft door closure on passenger door has quit working and I can hear air leak coming from around the door as I close the passenger door and attempt to engage the feature But... I have not yet searched for that leak, now Airmatic warning has appeared on Info display Are these two issues possibly related?
Very unlikely. They are totally separate systems.
The most common cause for your door problem seems to be a leaking actuator at the bottom of the door lock assembly. There are numerous posts with info on how to remove the door panel and how to fix the problem in the "stickies" at the top of the Forum - the ones that say "Start Here".
There are also posts with info on the possible Airmatic problems, but it might be much more efficient to have the codes read with DAS (the STAR System). You can sometimes find an Airmatic problem by deduction and checking for leaks, so some reading might help there as well.
