2002 S430 Mercedes
Acceleration is slow on 2002 S430
CEL is on. I press the accelerator and nothing happens until i hold it and then it takes off. If I slow down or come to a stop same thing happens. I have heard that its due and time to change the gas pedal, and or change the cat converters. Need help, please!

Take your car down to the local auto parts store and get the codes read. Come back and post the codes, then someone can help you without guessing.

I'll hazard a guess and say it's the throttle position sensor, but again, without codes . . .
