Command Issue
Can anyone hep me with my Command system continuously shutting down. It goes down and MBUS hasnt fixed it after 18 days of service visit and about 5 visits. My car buyer backed out of the deal based on this issue. This seems like a lemon to me! Any help would be so much appreciated!

Command Sys Faults
I have a new 2004 S430 4Matic. Took delivery 10-16-03.
My Navigation and/or Radio freezes up and does nothhing and I cant control it no way.
It has been back numerous times....even put a new front end of the Command Sys on ($6000.00).
A case has been opened on this. I am being told that the problem is in the fiber optic 'ring'
and there is toooooooooooooooooooo much conflict in 55 sensors speaking to each other thru this 'ring'.
Now I am waiting for corrective software. No idea when this might happen.
I am investigating lemon law.

I have had several similar experiences with my 2004 S500 sport. I just had it to the dealer yesterday(it took 2 days) to find out from MB that the software needed to be "flashed". Supposedly, they will receive a CD next week and "flash" the system. Will see if this does the trick.
