Hi,
Recently I have been looking at the W220 s-class models. Im planning on buying one sometime in the future. I've been looking at the 2003+ S55 AMG and S600 Biturbo. I've driven both and I like the fact that its a luxury car with a lot of power. Which of these is more reliable? What should I look out for? Thanks for the input.

 

S55 is more reliable because the v12 has a coil pack issue

Both have the problematic abc suspension

 

You'll be delerious and frustrated by both.

The S600 seems to be cheaper to buy, is more robust, but more difficult and expensive to fix.

If you are into modding, S55.

If you like to leave things alone S600, but take the mufflers off for a sweet purr

 

s600.

full leather interior is a must have.

 

I thought there was an interior upgrade
