lots of problems :((((
I got out the strip covering the buttons and the radio also came out. I see three plugs but there are only 2 cables connected to the dash buttons. I can not find a third connector.
I saw that somebody has stripped the wires from both connectors to check for power i guess. I then found fuse number 80 for the hazard light and it seems ok. Fuse list says electronic fuse is also for hazard. I don't understand this electronic fuse this. Does a electronic fuse break or does it reset itself? I also don't think there is something wrong with my sams there is no water and everything else seems to work fine. Airmatic not included. Who can help me get these buttons working again?

Car does not want to start though. I guess my battery is to weak. Seems strange because the starter doesn't even click. I'll keep you guys posted!

This is a bit of trouble, but probably worth trying...
Get access to the starter and look at the electrical connections - there will be one very large one and at least one small one. Make certain that there is full battery power on the large connection. Then check for battery power on the small connectors when a helper tries to start the engine.
While you are trying to start the engine, if there is power on one of the small connectors, the starter might well be faulty. If there is no power on the small connector, the problem is in the electrical or computer systems.

This is what i'm working on before i started working on it! The non start condition is due to water in ECU it seems.

Perhaps taking the time to give us a detailed description of what you consider to be the main problem, in detail, describing exactly what the car does/does not do would help us help you. Give us all of the facts relating to that problem...

Have you done anything to fix this?
"So i took out the ecu which had water in it, put another one in with same part number..."
Isn't the ECU one of the theft-prevention parts that must be matched to the EIS, key, etc.?

I then got under the car to check for the starter and i can't feel any click, nothing. So i guess no power and no need to take out starter. Taking out the starter seems pretty difficult by the way. Does that mean ECU is faulty?
So i then took out right front sam, the one next to the ecu. There are a few marks of water inside no rust though. I will order a new sam anyway. Sam is plug and play i have read. Can someone confirm this because i had also read that ecu was plug and play. I think i will wait for the sam to arrive and if that does not fix it i'll send the ecu to Miami for repairs.
