voice commands/phone problems.
So, I just got a new phone, my Samsung GS3 was giving me problems with Bluetooth (had to put the code in every time) so away with it.
But voice commands worked fine (pull the lever, say Call "name" and that's that).
With the new phone, everything is perfect, Bluetooth is connected, I don't have to put the code in every time, it's automatic, the phonebook is loaded.
So, after the problems (I will elaborate, since they persisted), I reset the whole command system, and then after the phone book was loaded, I imported the 5 phone numbers I want to have at my disposal as voice operated, and recorded the names into the Merc phone book voice system.
Everything is working fine, except when I pull the lever for voice, and say Call "name", it says "Phone Not Registered". I mean the female voice says this, it is not displayed or anything, I hear it say that.
So, now finally I have Bluetooth working perfectly, phone book is perfect, I even re-did the whole voice recognition thing with my voice, and added the 5 numbers into the Merc phone book so that I can add voice. But I can't use it.
So what does "phone not registered" mean? When I have no signal and try to call, the nav doesn't say anything, just displays "no network", but when I try the voice command, it says "phone not registered" and doesn't display anything.
The phone works fine otherwise, with buttons from the console or the phone, via Bluetooth, everything works except that. And it did work with the Samsung just hours ago, but the reset got rid of any Samsung leftovers.
Thank you very much.
