Dead battery = No Key Turn?
So right now, we have a 5000lb paperweight in the garage now because someone in my family left the headlights on last night.
This morning I was going to take it drop off my brother, but the key wouldn't turn at all. It doesn't make that noise when you first stick in the key so that the computer recognizes it, I'm assuming no battery, the computer isn't working, duh
, right? Will any of the settings be lost? IE, NAV addresses, radio stations, seating positions, adaptive drive, etc.
Roadside should take care of this prob, right? Thanks guys!

But I'll try the alarm thing.

I didn't know you had to let it charge that long...I figured like 1/2 hour would be sufficient enough.

yup. anywho, roadside came and jumped the car. told me that i had to leave the car on for 1 hour to 1.5 hours...I just drove it into boston, that was about a 40 minute drive then plus the 15 it spent inside the garage already running, so I think it was fine

there was actually a BIG spark when he touched the terminals, which usually doesn't happen when the battery is dead. so kinda strange, but I drove it to NU yesterday, so that was a good 1 hour of charge
