After you get a tune from us, take it to the dyno and you will see the results as I have posted on your W220 S600. Get the OBD2 tool and switch on the dyno from stock to tuned to see the power gains before and after instantly. 100% you will not be disappointed.
Thank you. I will be calling you in a little bit.

Well, I but the bullet and purchased ECU/TCU tunes from Aleks/Logic Lab today. I know I don't have a huge reputation here but I will report back once I get them and get the car on the track and dyno.

I am interested in getting a tune from you guys, but what is your refund policy? How is your warranty? What happens if it screws up my cars electrical system? I am a serious customer and I really would like these questions answered before I move forward.

We provide a complete warranty on our ECU Tune for 2 years. The tunes we sell are FIRST and foremost safe and reliable. We do not push the limits to the extreme on any products we sell, unless a customer requests that. We have done the platform many many times, and will walk you through the process of getting the car properly and safely flashed

I received the tuner and tunes (one for 93 octane and one for race fuel) but have not installed them yet. Waiting on answers to a few questions from Logic Lab before I flash the car.

The goal is to have them installed tomorrow morning, do a little bit of street driving, then head to the track. I will definitely report back once I get everything sorted out, probably by the end of the week.

I will definitely be doing a full review of this once I get it on the dyno this Friday, with my thoughts on the whole process. I don't want to say anything right now.

I put the tune in the car and there is a difference. I took the car to the track tonight to see just how much of a difference. Unfortunately, I ran into what I believe to be a transmission issue. I am getting a failure and lock in 2nd gear. I want to make it clear that I don't believe the tune to have anything to do with this failure, just a happy coincidence, or maybe the extra power makes it more apparent. I dumped the stock map into the car at the track after my first failed run to eliminate the tune as being the problem and even with the stock map I had the same issues.

I am fairly certain that I need to do the conductor plate. I am ordering parts tomorrow morning but that means no dyno time until next Friday at the earliest.

Guys, on the S600 there are MANY torque nannies that puts the transmission in neutral when it sees to much torque.

ALL TUNES WILL MAKE THIS MORE NOTICABLE

Now with that being said, most tuners are aweare of this and remove and reprogram some of them. Some tuners can remove all of them, but I elected to keep one for the sake of my transmission, aka 14K to replace.

Just wanted to make this clear to everyone, as it is annoying when you are beating up on a M5 and tranny goes into neutral, typically in 2nd gear when traction is good.

That isn't my problem. Mine is a speed sensor failure on the conductor plate. Unrelated to the tune.

I understand that, but I just wanted everyone to understand the little headaches that go with tunning the V-12's.

Any updates Ryan ? You are the only person in this forum to ever buy this w220 tune and experienced a transmission issue the first time out

Did the conductor plate fix things ? How is the tune ?

Yeah.....I'd like to know the results too. Also want to know if you did any dyno runs after you got it sorted.

Conductor plate fixed the problem. Completely unrelated to the tune, just bad timing. I never took the car to the track after since I sold the car a couple days after doing the conductor plate. I have another S600 here that will most likely be getting another Logic Lab tune once it's up and running.

I was happy with the tune. It felt more alive on the street but that's all I can say for it. No hard data to back it up.

Really

You pay money to tune the car, and pay again to fix the tranny, and then sell it right away?

And, you just happen to have another S600 lieing around?

Seriously?

Is it that hard to believe? Buy with problems > Fix > Sell > Buy another. Sometimes I end up keeping one as my personal car. The car that I put the tune in was a personal car. Unfortunately, I haven't had another personal S600/S65 since I sold that one. The one that I am debating putting a tune into will be for sale as soon as it's back to 100%, tune or not.

Sorry, no. The mod was done by the previous owner. He's a member here, but didn't post anything about dyno testing.

Being able to drive the two cars back to back is interesting though. The Eurocharge car is a lot faster.

Butt dyno says the black car feels like it drives within its own boundaries, whereas the silver car doesn't.

I'm considering Logic Lab Tuning for the black car.

Okay, forgive me, but I am sure everyone can understand that with only a few hundred imported per year that VERY few people happen to have another one or two just sitting around.

PS: I have the EC tune and LOVE IT!!!!

I just bought a new tune...from Eurocharged.

I called Logic Lab to get a new tune but the call was never returned. I still want to run a Logic Lab tune on the dyno and the track but the track is now closed until spring. I'll give Logic Lab another chance on the next car but for this one, I wasn't confident I would have it in the car in time.
