Ball joint removal tool confusion

So my steering rack is leaking and im about to replace it but im confused on how to remove the outer tie rod end ball joint.

I searched and found two different pullers on ebay. Anyone know which one to get?

351221016283 is a conventional, general-purpose, ball-joint separator that's used for pushing the ball joint TAPER out of a steering or suspension arm. This is what you'd use for a track rod end.

171679164415 is a heavy special tool that's only used for pressing the ball joint itself in and out of the front suspension upright. This is the big ball joint at the end of the front lower track control arm, that bears the weight ofthe car. Like this:

This video shows the difference between the two types of ball joint pressing:

Or see this:

All are good.

By the way, I found a series of really superb DIY videos on YouTube by ChrisFix. Most of these sorts of videos are a valuable time wasted that you will never get back, but ChrisFix is a goldmine.
