need help fast

Hello everyone, I'a Dan.
Long time reader first time talker. I need help and fast. read all the posts, but none helped in my dilema. I know one off you professionals will be able to help. I am trying to finish my 2001 W220 and a friend offered me his 19/9 rims with the offset 50 for my car brand new tires 235/35/19 and 235/30/19. will they fit the W220 as is or do i have to change tires and get spacers, and if yes what size tires and which spacers. I will appreciate a quick response since this is time sensitive - he has a buyer. Thank you and greatfull

You should give the folks at Tire Rack a call. Those guys are real good and know more about wheels and tires than most of us on here. They're also quite helpful and are one of the sponsors of this forum. http://www.tirerack.com

Will they fit ? Yeah. The tires will look skinny though

You should have a 235 40 19

50mm offset should be good with 235 tires as stock is 46mm. You can do a direct comparison using this tool . Base line stock is 225 60 R16.

Mercy-me THANKS that is a great tool. So with the comperisson i did the 19/9 on 255/40/19 with the offset 40mm that i got on w220 now are not proper the revs are too different. Would you say that they will be better on w140 body since the revs are aklmost identical only one apart. Also i noticed that they rub a little on big bumps in the rear but not front 9will they rub on w140?). Would you suggest that i switch the 19/9 255/40/19 offset 40mm from w220 to W140 and put 19/9 235/35/19 offset 50mm on the w220?
