Rear seat fan

Not sure what you mean by the rear seat fan. Are you talking about the air vents that flow to the back seats? BTW, what year is your car. You should include it in your USER CP.

I'll update the profile.
I'm talking about the rear seat ventilation (designo package specific maybe?). The driver seat ventilation is also not working, although for both seats the lights indicate that it is on.

The front seat ventilation, when working properly on 2000-2006 W220s is barely noticeable. The way to check if the front seat ventilation is working is to move the front seat forward, turn on ventilation, and look under seat from the back seat and inspect if fans are turning. If they are- system is working. The design is not good....

I checked the drivers side rear seat, it definitely makes an audible sound when it's cooling the seat, I will double check the driver's side fan.
If it's out, is there an easy fix for it? Will I have to replace the fan? Can I rebuild the fan? If a fuse were out, wouldn't I get some indication that it went?

I agree with Mike. It seems to me that the "cooled seat" function is more of pain than anything else. Even when they are working properly you don't really notice that much of a difference.
