hi, have a 01 s500 sport..... 43K miles...
wife notes that occ. when she turns on the climate control, the display comes on, fan speed, set temp... but no fan blowing for upto 2minutes , she claims... may be exaggerated but ... it does eventually come on she says but it's delayed....

any thing like this to report from you guys?

Ohh, I though you meant it had a delay for a few seconds which is completly normal. Strange?

 

well, when i use the car and i turn it ON, i noticed a few seconds of delay until the fan blows at intended speed....
she claims a minute or two delay sometimes....esp. if she's used the car/warmed up... and she's back in the car again....

we turn the A/C system OFF completely when we turn the car off.....old habit to supposedly keep the compressor from turning with starting the car initially..... old habit....
