2001 S430 Dash Lights In Op
My father owns a 2001 S430 with 133k miles. While driving this weekend the IP lights and gauges went out. I found info about the recall campaign 06V028000. I called the local dealer yesterday and they indicated that the 10 year campaign for his car ended after ten years (so 2011). Does this sound correct? I thought the letters to inform customers did not get sent out until 2006. If customers were to be given 10 years, then would we not have until 2016?

From everything I've heard and read the recall was good for 10 years from date of manufacture.
