Ezs problems

Hi, I have a 1999 s500L w220, yesterday my battery goes down and i thinks the ezs now fault, I recharge the battery to 12,7 volts so now when I put the key into the ezs nothing happened and the key can't open/close the doors, I never had problem with the key or the ezs so the last owner says that he have problems and replace the original ezs and key with an used one, can someone help me? Thanks

You can't replace the key with a used one because they are coded to the car. Once programmed it can't be changed. Either new batteries of new Key. A key is $250 us. Go to a dealer to get it done.

Will the key turn in the ignition switch (EIS)??

(If it was working before the battery change then the battery may still be the issue.)

thanks to reply, i cant buy a new key cause the last owner change the ezs-key-ecu with used parts after a ezs or key problem i dont know, i dont buy a new battery only charge mine until 12,7 volt so nothing happened, i also tried to connect another car(2,5l diesel with 100a battery)with a 300A cables so dont change the situation, maybe the ezs lost the key programming after the battery fault?or i need to put a new battery?thanks

the key red light it's working, i try the infrared with my telephon camera and its working propely...

2014 ml63 and 2014 ml350 bluetec

Find someone with start diagnostic and do a scan. it does sound like you key info is lost, seen this happen in old cars like your model. you might have to read the ezs and make new key, or buy another used ezs with key.
