Junction Box?

Im eager to find-out what happens after I carefully re-inspect the rear junction box on my S class.. Recently as some of you might well know the car has been having the red light brake warning along with the abs.

Since the problem emerged after a suspension problem that caused the classical s-class to look like a dragster. I have been thinking what might have been damaged due to the huge impacts the rear suspension was going through. The car felt like a horse on the streets and when passing small bumps the rear will just bounce very aggressively.

Now going back to the junction box after doing some analysis today I decided to take a look at the rear junction box for my surprise I notice it was corroded loose and principal suspects for the red brake light and abs....

Considering it as my prime suspect I would like Input on what this junction box thing does and if it definitely relates to the patients symptoms..

thanks

Are you referring to the SAM hidden under the rear seat near the passenger foot well?

I read there's also fuse link behind the front passenger foot well but for me this is it. It makes sense that this part might be causing the headache. But I will like to know what is this parts actual functions with the car.
