how many miles are you guys getting from your dunlop sport 9000 tires?? i only got 7000 miles out of my first set.

is anybody using 18" rims on their s-benz?? if so, how many miles are you getting out of the tires...i have the 18" AMG rims and the dunlops don't last too long. thanks in advance!

I have used 18' Dunlop SP9000 245/45/18 on my last set. I got approx. 18600 miles on them but during the last 5000 miles, they suck, very slippery everywhere and sometimes it's very scary in wet. Also, the compound has becoming very hard and the ride becomes very choppy. Now I am using Uniroyal RainSport 1 (Not available in US). So far 6000 miles and they look great. They should get around 20000 miles. So far ride and grip are very good, very predictable

I had Dunlop 9000's on my 2001 CL55. At 18000 miles I still have at least 3-5,000 miles left in tread.

thanks guys for the response! i still can't figure out how i only got 7k from my first set....in the back.

when i bought my car from mbofhouston north i paid extra for a new set of amg's and tires...makes me wonder if they put a used set on the back...from my experience at that dealership, it wouldn't suprise me.
