2 Questions about a 2002 S-430
1. Does the driver seat squeak alot when your turning the car left or right at any speed?
2. Does the rear view mirror have an electronic adjustment or do we manual adjust it? The reason I ask is when I go back and forth between the different memory settings the rear view mirror changes based on setting but wasnt sure if there is an electronic control to adjust the mirror.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I have a 2002 S430. To answer your question:
1. Yes I had the same problem as you. Take it to the dealer and they should get it fixed. I had a lot of seat problems and squeaky noises. 1 and 1/2 year later I still have problems with both my front seats.
2. You have to adjust it manually. That's what mine has.

You have to initially adjust the rear view mirror. The present position will be saved when you save your settings in memory. So if someone else moves the rear view mirror later on, the motorized mirror goes to your setting (same as in 2000 S-class)
