For the headlight chrome trims, saw them and think they're ok.
Comfort Package comes with Nappa (as all S500) perforated seats that have Multicontour seats with massage feature as well as heated (as all S500) and ventilated (A/C) feature.
Once you get proper adjustments on Multicontour (lumbar and two backseat supports) - the seats are great - the best I've ever experienced. Also I noticed that they feel softer than regular S500 seats (may be because of full perforation?).

Interesting... My chrome headlight rings looks much thinner IMO. Once I will get pics - will post them...

Are ebay links permitted? If so, I can attach if anyone would be interested. I think the seller is "chrome best." Any opinions on this seller?
Could you attach couple of ebay links for this "chrome best" seller.
I am thinking of getting those door chrome protectors...
BTW, does anyone have picture with door chromes installed?

Please don't take this personal, but those headlight rings are the ugliest accessory for the S Class.

It's a sin to place such an object on such a beautiful car.

No offense taken...

On other than Silver or White body I don't like the way they look on W220... But headlight rings on silver add that missing touch...

Here's one. The seller is jkmotoring. I looked for chromebest but it doesn't look like he's selling any door protectors this time.

Edit:
Pictures too big. I will try to upload in gallery.

I just think that if you take two front-view pictures of a silver s class with and without the chrome headlight rings, the one with looks more appealing. it brings out the look of the grill. my $0.02 ...
Interesting...

ArMaNi did you get your chrome headlight rings from dealer or aftermarket (like ebay or autoparts shop, etc.)?
My headlight rings looks much thinner....

Yeah I bought them from ebay. Payed close to nothing. I never knew there was a difference between the companies who make the headlight rings. Do you have pictures of yours with the 'thinner' headlight rings?

I got my MY01 S500 with the rings on it (the car was off the lease with no mods but a lot of factory options - see my sig.) so most likely the guy ordered those rings from MB (just a guess though) but they look a bit thinner IMO.

I will get the pics soon. Gotta do some detailing first

You know I'm taking serious consideration into trading my car for an '01 with all the options yours has and even a trunk closer. Btw, when did the Keyless Start option first appear on the 220? anyone know?

ps. sounds like its a beautiful car...(impatiently) waiting for the pics..

I would definitely get these, but only if they would come in super flashy gold.

Also, does anyone know where I can get antennas etc. with fake crystal so it flashes like a gypsy-mobile? (yes my family is gypsy so then its somehow ok to say this weird, but it works)

JOKING...
I think having evertyhing chrome like that looks ..eiick..
unless the finish is really really good, I am afraid it will look like plastic with a chrome layer on top.. eick!! on a 100K car... no I will pass..

Headlight rings are metal (probably steel with chrome layers). It is definitely not plastic.
I am also thinking to put door handles shells chrome covers. IMO doesn't really add much to the look but indeed prevents those door handle shells from scratching..

Well, I can see that its practical, cause it does get scracthed..

but the rest, I dunno, where does it stop? some ppl do the license plate, etc. etc. But maybe it looks better in reality than on picture, I havent seen it so its only my specualtion and opinion.

BTW, just ordered license plate frames - looks really cool (on the photo).
