Front suspension ? ebay ?
Hi,
So, it seems the front suspension strut has popped its bellow on my S600L (2004).
My local village garage has suggested I buy one off ebay if I don't want to flush a months wages on a new one. Apparently they are £1,000+ new and on 5 day order from Germany.
I looked on ebay, but I want to be confident I'm buying the right thing.
Its the left hand side one I need. I think its part number : 2203208313 ?
This one looks like the cheapest on ebay, but looks a bit scabby.

He also suggested I buy it with the arm attached, as the grub screws are difficult to get out on the old one.
Any suggestions ? Or is it ebay or new ?
I had a quick Google for breakers, but that didn't turn up many with an S600.

The best solution by far in the USA has been Arnott for the last few years. They offer very good prices, and a lifetime warranty on rebuilt Airmatic struts. Unfortunately, up until recently, they did not sell overseas.
They now have opened a facility in Europe. I would suggest that you check with them to get cost and conditions for your ABC strut.
