S600 V-12 Eurocharged non-issue

I installed a Eurocharged tune and a few weeks after, began to get CEL and misfires on right side. They could be cleared by code reader but would come back after a night in the garage. Eurocharged made a new tune but that didn't work and reinstalling the stock tune didn't help. Everybody said the coil pack was bad caused by the tune. Both coil packs had been changed about 30k ago. So I bit the bullet and changed the coil pack. Still no good and out $1000. I took apart the ignition transformer and found nothing burned up. Finally went to MB dealer for diagnosis only and they did deeper tests and said it was the transformer. I let them change it with the agreement that if that did not fix it I would not have to pay. Changing it fixed the problem. Car is now perfect.
So.. according to MB tech (V-12 specialist) the misfires were NOT caused by Eurocharged tune. I'm now on to bigger, better, and faster things.

Correct , the misfire was caused by the bad transformer , not the tune
But the tune caused the premature failure of the transformer .
