s430 chain guide tensioner replacement

2003 s430 amg . Are there a write ups or video on replacing the chain guide tensioners ?

One guide can be replaced without removing timing cover and cylinder heads. the rest need major disassembly work. Most likely the chain is stretched. You can do the chain, cam gears, the one rail, and new tensioner and you should be good to go. I've never had to replace the other guides to rid that noise

not DIY but WIS, Alldata, etc should have the information. Get a day pass to Startekinfo and save all the documents you need for the job
