2005 S600 suspension question
Pump working fine, but after parking on inclined
drive way for a couple of hours, "Drive Carefully" message was on which disappeared after restart. Drove car this morning, all well, no messages, but still rear a bit lower by 1/4 inch after using all comfort settings of ABC. Oil level is also fine.
Can a scanner adjust the rear level upwards by 1/4 inch? Thanks..Happy elections day.

You should have the car "rodeo" tested to test for proper pressures as well as general health of the pump. Youtube it if you're unfamiliar.
Otherwise I would bite the bullet and replace all of the pressure accumulators (I believe there are 4 of them). They are costly but needed to maintain pressure as the internal bladders and nitrogen deteriorate/deplete over time. I usually replace all of those the instant I buy any ABC car, because I'd rather be safe than sorry with a $2,500+ power steering pump.
