Finally there coming out w/S class application talked w/Adam over at H-P-S- he says the HP will be about 150, TQ will be about the same I think the price will be about the same as current models $7000.00 + $1495.00 install. It's a much bigger Super Charger w/intercooler + higher boost That means approximately.... Installed on S430 about 425 HP + 435 TQ on S500 452 HP + 479 TQ

These are guesstimates based on info I got, they could be slilghtly lower every car is different

I was going to buy the Kleemann SC but after I heard this I'm going w/H-P-S- no question.....

 

Can't wait to test drive it...

 

That kinda scares me. For another four grand you could easily have a much higher quality Supercharger installed by some of the best in the industry.. oh yeah and they are made to represent everything the orginal Mercedes stands for; class, none of that Cobra style supercharger whine similair to the kind they had on the set up W210 video I saw.

Edit: The higher quality supercharger is the one from Kleemann. For less money if you will I'd rather take the cams from Evosport and possibly a pulley too.

 

This new one I'm told will be directly bolted to the intake manifold alleviating the SC whine, the older SC used to be mounted to the side which would be much louder like you said. This will be just like a stock mercedes part in fitment concerns you wont even see it if you open the hood, it can be covered w/stock engine cover.
Also the TQ will be higher than Kleemann's you need to do more research, call up H-P-S- and get the facts before you condem it.

I misread your initial post, I thought it had meant that TQ was the same as in unchanged. Now I see that it says it is increased by about 150lb-ft torque am I correct?

I don't need to call Adam at HPS; they had their chance on the forum and there were quite a lot of questions asked and their service representative here was rude and, I guess, just blew up.

Oh btw: I do have an S-Class; a S500. Few LS430's and an LS400. The last is my personal car.
