AC Schnitzer 745i

Personnally, I am partial to all German Cars. I love them all! Check out the 745i in AC Schnitzer trim. Looks muscular and menacing!

Overall, the kit helps.....but nothing is going to save that rear, except a redesign.

The car looks nice IMO but I dont like how the lines are thrown off by the rear fascia around the exhaust. The part doesnt seem to "gel" with the rest of the rear end- which is another issue in itself.

Looks nice from the front--kind of menacing as mentioned. Overall, I'm not a huge fan of the E65 7-Series styling as I am of the W220 S-Class. I think I'll be able to warm up to it. I miss the stately elegance of the E38, though.

AC Schnitzer work does make the car look better, but it also makes it look even more compact and takes away any stately quality that remained in the new 7.

Thumbs down

That new 7 series is a dog! It is an ugly piece of machinery. Cars must have even flowing lines. This car is choppy and definitely does not flow visually. What's up with the distorted taillights? No matter with a kit or not the car is plain NASTY. NO COMPARISON TO THE S-CLASS!

By the way, my buddy has an '02 M3 ans just took it to the dealer for service. He is an avid BMW fan. He saw about 5 745i's in service and asked about them. The service rep said there have been enormous amounts of problems with them. One had the entire dash ripped out. The car is basically one moving supercomputer. It's too computer-dependent. There are massive glitches in the car. BMW has announced an official recall already!

ITS UGLY AND CAN BE ATTACKED BY VIRUSES. STICK WITH THE S.

Mercedes lovers can attack it all they want, but the car will still sell like hotcakes and be very successful. The automotive press will praise it. Don't expect a 3 year old designed S-Class to overshadow it in reviews. All cars are designed to trump the competitors older design. BMW trumps MBZ with lower prices and more HP and that is what sells cars. The W220 had it's time in the spotlight and now the 7-Series will have it. That's is the way it is.

To me all German cars rock-n-roll!

I think they took the muffler boxes/rear skirt off of a Caddy STS.

There is nothing wrong with being computer dependent... your car is already that way... the problem is running crappy software on those computers... Did you know the 745 runs a version on Microsoft Windows?

I think that answers your questions.. :p
