Well it's time to replace the wiper blades on my '01 S500 and it's turning out to be a real challenge. Mercedes lists two part numbers depending on VIN, so I dutifully went to the local dealer with the VIN and purchased blades that didn't fit. Back to the parts counter I went, old blade in hand (see pics). The salesperson brought out the other part number, still different. I've tried all the usual aftermarket places - Autozone, O'Reilly etc., no-one has a wiper blade that has the same mounting as the ones on my car. Same story online, though it's a bit difficult to tell from the photos posted sometimes. Has anyone got a car with this type of wiper blade, and if you've had to replace them, where did you get them?
Mercedes did use odd wiper blades that you can't just. Pick up from the auto parts store
I can't tell from your pic but I know my 2000 used odd Bosch wipers , and I was able to have Firestone dismantle a set of their 28 inch Bosch wiper blades by cutting the metal blade frame to extract just the rubber refill, and then insert the rubber refill in my mb blade. You need to find a seller of Bosch blades.
