DRAINING BATTERY

Have noticed many noises (electrical things) happening in the car when the key removed. The navigation cd sounds like its continually running in the command unit. then in about 24 hours the car will need a jump start. Will replacing the radio (control unit) fix this issue, or does the computer need to be reprogrammed???

usually a nav that won't shut off needs to be replaced . Sometimes a software update will work but not always . Have you tried remove the nav disc and see if that solves it ?

as a workaround you. Can get a $49 "remote battery disconnect" on Amazon so you just click a button and it cuts off battery power to prevent draining
