battery died now wont start
got a 2000 s500 v8. yesterday the battery died on me. i replaced it with a new one, now when i put the key in and turn the key, no lights come on the dash, nothing turns on. opening the door turns the cluster on but it turns off, the dome light works the remote locks still work, nothing else on the car works though? i checked all my fuses and checked the junction block near the battery and passenger foot well, the fuses dont appear blown. also checked the fuse boxes in the front engine bay and under pssenger seat any one have any ideas what to check next?

Going by appearance on fuses is not always adequate. Checking for voltage on both sides of the fuse with a mulitmeter or test light is a more certain check.

Thanks for the advice. I figured it would look blown like a normal fuse. So I put my meter on the junction box in passenger floor and the 60 amp inside was indeed blown, I got a new one put in it. But as soon as I turn the key to on position, it blows again and everything goes dead! Any ideas of what to check next?
