Hello,
Just replaced the transformer for the cluster lighting issue on my 01 S500. Now, my gauges are all over the place. I put in (what I thought was) the 0 position. However when I reconnected, the RPM and temp gauges fell below the 0 position. The gas won't go higher than half tank (even when full). And the speedometer maxes out around 45-50mph. Everything I read says basically calibration is not possible. Anyone have any suggestions?
So frustrating .. finally got the lights back .. but now the gauges won't read.
According to the tutorial I followed, the needles needed to be removed, which I obviously did. I'm thinking now that was a terrible mistake? .. ugh.
