Starter problem

Good evening. Got a problem with with my 2004 S500. I've been having a problem with the battery draining. I installed a battery disconnect and it's working fine (until I can get it to the dealer to have it scanned). But I went out yesterday to start it and had a problem. The starter makes a noise like it had a low battery but louder. A click click click but the starter does not engage. I have checked the battery with a load tester and it checks good. The battery is not a month old. I'll do a current draw check tomorrow as I'm trying to start it I would really appreciate any ideas.

IF the battery is good, another cause for clicking from the starter solenoid is a poor connection somewhere in the starting circuit. This includes both battery terminals, the battery ground connection, the heavy battery connections between the battery and the starter solenoid, the connections between the solenoid and the starter, and the starter ground connection.
