W220 Airmatic and ABS Problem pls help

I have a Merc S 320 CDI (2004) for a while now i have had ABS,BAS fault coming up on my dash. A diagnostics test showed it was front right ABS sensor which i replaced myself. Since doing this my car now drops completely at the front (both sides)
Another diagnostics test showed "CAN NOT READ, BREAK IN CONNECTION"
Message on dash reads "ABS Display error"
I took to my mechanic and he replaced a new air compressor that made no difference. Then he replaces the wheel bearing and that made no difference either.
I decided to take the car home as i had spent so much money and was no better off. Driving from my mechanics shop i was stuck in heavy traffic and it wasnt until i was almost home i realised that NOW the car seems to be stuck in 1st gear.
Can anybody shed some light on my situation Pleeeease ?????

Find some one with DAS Xentry who can provide you with the correct diagnostics as it sounds like you are very vulnerable.
