I'm moving to France is there a switch to change the direction of the beam or have I got to change the complete headlight units. Looked all over the internet and found no answers so far. Thanks

You don't tell us where you are from, but it sounds as if you are moving from the UK to France - if so, yes, you have to trade your RHD lights for LHD lights. I would suggest that you just buy used LHD units and keep the RHD units for when you move back. And no, there is no practical way to change something in the lights.
