Washer fluid leak

2000 S500
Washer fluid leak
2000 S500. Washer fluid tank is new, holds fluid, replaced all grommets, washer pump runs but fluid comes out on the windscreen half-heartedly. But as soon as I test it the tank then is totally empty. I will check the line for any leaks but not sure how that would empty the entire reservoir.

Sounds as if the leaking line sets up a siphon.

have a look at the pipes in the plastic air intake plenum on the back of the hood.

Can the windshield washer fluid leak into headlamp housing because my drivers side light assembly stays wet and lights keep going out.
