Climate control

Hello guys,

I have a question for operation, I read in the Car manual that MB recommend to use temperature 22 C (72 F) all the time to feel comfort with auto FAN settings.
now a day in my region it is winter with temps HI/LO 19/8 C, I noticed when I start the car from cold and set the options above, heat air start to get out depend on temp of coolant which is ok, so after 30 minute or more I noticed that cold air start to get out until I increase temp more than 24 C.
another eveidence, when I start the car from cold with HVAC OFF and for driving more than 30 min I start HVAC with default option (outside temp 11C) but the windows is slightly open since I am smoking, cold air start to get out even I closed the window nothing change until I have increase the temp again.
other evidence again while heater is working, temp set I thing 25 or 27 and my wife open the window so cold air get out until she closed the window and raised the temp.

EC MODE always enabled in winter.

My analysis that there is something measure the temp inside and out side with pressure to let you feel comfort so it will change the status of HVAC until threshold detected or man intercept.
is my analysis ok or what is the meaning of that?
other question so in summer with same temp set (22) will be always cool air or as the same as in winter?

Is the outlet air temperature uncomfortable, or is it just not what you expect?

After the temperature inside the car gets to a comfortable level, it is normal for the air from the dash outlets to be cooler than the air from the footwell outlets and the windshield outlets.

Is the air temperature the same from the outlets on each side of the car? Each side is controlled separately, with the coolant flow to each side controlled and aided by the duo-valve. If the duo-valve fails, the outlet air temperature will not be as-desired - it may be hotter or colder, depending upon the failure.

The EC MODE reduces or eliminates the operation of the air conditioning compressor. If you press the button to defog or deice the windscreen, the compressor will operate anyway, in order to reduce the moisture inside the car.

Thanks for your response.

The air temp is the same as in dash, side, footwell and windshield. but in normal operation when center wheel for dash outlet not in auto, the air is depend on the setting what I set(blue or white) which it was differ from side, footwell and windshield(cooler or the same as temp at control module).

Each side controlled properly by the temp set by control module (EX: if I have set for me 28 and for passenger 22, the air temp for is hotter than the other side).
