2010 S550 vibration at 1500-1600 under gentle load
As per my description - 2010 S550 4 Matic, 53000 miles, very high frequency vibration in steering wheel and floor. While under gentle load at 1500-1600 RPM. No lights, Not a miss, Not a wheel or tire,
Any ideas ?

If it isn't as 'tusabes' says, an engine or transmission mount, then my guess would be the center carrier. Not necessarily the bearing, but the rubber carrier that attaches to the bearing.
I just changed mine on Saturday. It was worn badly and had started off as a slight vibration in the center of the car only from 15 to 20 mph under load. This progressed to include 27 to 33 mph and the original vibrating speed was stronger. I changed the transmission mount with my wife's (because I knew hers was driving without any vibrations) thinking it was the culprit. Nope.
I ordered a new carrier from RockAuto.com. Installed it and it's like a new car.
