Hi. Been having trouble with my s500 from 1999. Bought car with bad ecu. Bought new ecu and soldered over imobilizer chip. Seams old owner already changed ecu. Bought star c3. It says fbs and ecu doesnt match. All else is go. I have a ecu with number a0255458932. Been looking for a complete ecu/eis/key/shifter kit for 4 month now. No luck. Found another ecu kit almost same number; a0265456832. I cant help thinking about if it would fit.. my car is a 1998 production. The other is from a 1999. Both me2.0 ecu s500. Whats the difference? May it work? How do I read the vin from the ecu with star c3? Get code P1570. Ecu cuts engine due to das error. Please help!
