replace COMAND head unit with Android

I have COMAND with MOST (2 optical cables plug into the back of the head unit and go to amplifier in the trunk). I want to change to chinese Android head unit + new amplifer(with normal RCA in put).
Is it possible to still use steering wheel buttons to control audio? any extra equipment needed (such as optical loop cable or MOST optical convert, seller gave me the canbus plug, but I have no idea where to put it in. )? thank you

Thanks tusabes. I want to do something a little different by not using a stock amplifier. I am wondering if I need the optical loop (to make MOST loop complete), and connect interconnect RCA from android front to the new amplifier. In addition, from what I read in the such post, can I imply that connect the right wiring from android to CANBUS(in the trunk or X30/5), shall make the steering wheel audio control work?
