Injector information

Help,

between the 5.8L M137 and 5.5L M275, I can't find relevant info about flow rate for the injectors that I need to do my s600 turbo conversion. I wouldn't want to start from scratch and try to create a whole new tune with aftermarket injectors.

I can't find this information anywhere. Have searched part numbers and no luck. I'm just short of calling manufacturers to get specs.

also, the boost numbers I've seen here that stock is 12psi baffles me, since that would be about 300hp without boost. But if that's correct, then the m137 could go to 550-575hp on the same stock turbos and boost, albeit would need a much more efficient intercooler to correct for high compression.

I don't think it is a good idea to convert a NA V12 to biturbo.

You could be right and that's what worried me. Although after a deep dive on the internet the only variance between the motors should be compression and block thickness. The stock 12psi shouldn't be that hard on NA internals. I am confident if I can switch out the Wastegate dashpot for one at 6psi it would be even safer.

The biggest worry is how different the tunes are and what I need to correct for. On the simple side it could just be modding the map sensor and injectors to get the right AFR using stock ignition advance, on the difficult side it could mean it requires a full tune. I have ran a Nissan 3.0L v6 motor (accidentally) using a "turbo" ecu that was actually a mislabeled NA ecu on turbo injectors. Ran rich but didn't damage anything or cause any concern with the timing map. This v12 is basically a double, literally double the cylinders, of that project.

keep the $.02 coming, I'll take free advice.
