The first thing that I would do is to check every fuse in the car.
Look on the end of the fuses, where the number is, and find the two tiny metal dots. If you buy an inexpensive test light (looks like an old-fashioned ice pick, with a clear plastic handle containing a light bulb, and a wire from the bulb to an alligator/crocodile clip) it makes testing easy.
Attach the clip to a good bare metal part of the body or chassis as a ground/earth connection. Touch the sharp tip to one of the metal dots on the fuse, and then to the other.
If the bulb doesn't light with either, the circuit isn't powered - turn the ignition switch on, and try again.
If the bulb lights on both of the dots, the circuit is powered and the fuse is good.
If the bulb lights on only one of the dots, the circuit is powered and the fuse is blown.
Try starting the car in both PARK and in NEUTRAL. There is a safety switch in the shifter that only allows the start relay to function in one of those positions.

Try fuse 78 on the side of the dash
if not that you’ll need the 4 parts from a donor car - key shifter ecu and ignition switch . All must come from the same donor car because they are coded together

Did you try replacing the key fob? I saw this issue once on my own 2000 S430 and again on a 2007 CLK350. Ordered a new key fob from Mercedes, and that fixed the problem completely. Proof of ownership required to buy the part from Mercedes.

greetings .
its my 2000 s430 again ... ive replaced the tcm ive replaced the alternator ive replaced the instrument cluster ... here is the issue
when i open the car ,inst/cluster lights up . Iput the key in , turn it and no noise no crank no start . Ive tedted the starter relay and it opens and closes. Im not getting any power no start and no crank...i drove the car around when it worked but now nothing ... also looked at the junction box ...now im looking for bad ground and possibly a new starter ... so any ideas //?

Because you have power at the cluster but key won’t crank , it Sounds like a problem with one of the 4 anti theft parts - ecu key shifter and ignition switch . You must get a matched set of the 4 parts from a junk car or eBay , they are coded together and all 4 must come from the same donor car
eBay had matched sets for about $360
