Which transistors to replace on S430 instrument cluster?

Hi all,

I'm currently doing the standard dash transformer repair on my 2001 S430, and have run into a small issue. The repair kit I received contains three BUZ102S transistors. From looking at the rear board (the one WITHOUT the transformer to be replaced), I see three BUZ102S transistors, and one BUZ102SL. Two of the BUZ102S transistors are directly right of the second transformer, the BUZ102SL is directly next to those two (the uncircled transistor shown here, and the third is at the top of the board, next to the right signal light.

I'm probably making this more complicated than necessary, but due to the proximity of the BUZ102S and BUZ102SL, I want to be sure I shouldn't be replacing those three and leaving the one at the top of the board alone? Effectively, my knee-jerk reaction is to replace like for like parts, but wanted to double-check with the experts. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Hi there,

Thank you for the suggestion. With that said, I ended up replacing the two directly next to the transformer, as well as the one at the top of the board. Cheers!
