Water in the passenger floor is known to cause major problems for the W220 cars, and correction can be very difficult. To greatly over-simplify the situation, you must disconnect the battery ground cable; remove all passenger-side carpets; clean and treat all of the electrical connections under the carpet and covers; remove the rear seat bottom, remove, disassemble, clean and treat the rear SAM (Signal Acquisition Module); and reassemble everything. This should all be done ASAP, as the water will continue to cause corrosion and electrical damage. It takes days to dry the soaked carpets and padding.
There are many, many threads and videos on water damage online to give you more detailed information.

You really need to do some serious reading on the water problem - there is more that you need to understand than I am willing to retype for you...
Search on this forum, go to benzworld.org and use the search function there, and do a standard Google search.
The major items under the carpet are electrical cables, fuses and connections. The electronics that will be damaged are under the rear set. you have to take care of all of it, or you will destroy the car.

You absolutely must pull up all the carpeting and dry it out - you can’t dry it from on top of the carpet as there is water in the recessed metal trough under the carpet
