At a loss

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I recently purchased a 2001 S430. It's a beautiful car with only 44,600 miles on it. I test drove it and all was fine. But once I got on the highway I got the message that it was riding low. The left rear keeps losing air. I replaced the shock and checked for leaks and didn't find any. So I moved on and replaced the airmatic valve block and the pump since those items came with the shock set I purchased. There has been no change. It pumps up but then starts losing as soon as the pump shuts off triggering it to start pumping it up again. The air seems to run out of it quickly. What else could it be? How do I check the lines if there's a leak or split there?

you could plug off the left rear at the valve block or somehow mount a pressure gauge on that air line to see if its leaking. Could be an air leak where the line goes into the strut or the valve block. If its dropping fast you should hear the air leaking. Or u got a new bad strut thats leaking. Good luck

If you borrow a hand vacuum pump from auto zone, you could (with the car off) take off the airline from the top of the shock and put a vacuum in the line and see if it holds. Then you should see if the line is leaking between the valve and the shock. And if it fails that test, you can remove the line from the valve side and plug it and vacuum test the line as a sure way to test it's integrity.
