How do I make CL55 trunk open all the way?

2002 CL55 AMG
How do I make CL55 trunk open all the way?
Just back from mechanic and trunk opens only to 45 degrees, about half way. Held the green trunk open button, the red reclose button, and tried disconnecting battery. No luck. 2002 model CL55.

try holding the trunk raise button on the door continually for 5-10 seconds after it stops opening . If that doesn’t work
might need to visit a dealer for resynchronization
