Hi,

Try as I may, I could not find a post showing the actual location of the secondary air pump (and relay) for my car. Think I might have to replace it. Getting the dreaded P0410 code that everyone's advise is to replace the pump and relay.

Anything you guys can share in terms of image would be helpful. Or better yet, if I can download a free copy of Haynes repair manual or something. A thousand thx in advance.

While the pumps and relays do fail, they are far from the only causes for P0410. Some other common things include faulty solenoids, faulty vacuum valves, plugged passageways in the cylinder heads, etc., etc. Here are several posts on the subject - hopefully some will be helpful

I don't have STAR but reading the first few threads, I've decided to:
1) clean my MAF
2) replace my Purge Valve Control (my engine seems to stumble for a mere milliseconds from time to time)
3) lastly I have been hearing a high pitch screech once in a blue moon and couldn't attribute it to anything until one of the posting mentioned how the bearing of his secondary air pump was going and making that sound

Will try the them in order but afraid will have to wait till closer to spring time. It's currently 0 degrees here in the NE of US. My garage is not heated... :-(
