01 S500 Loss of Acceleration, can’t get out of park, car will not start.
Hello. Today I was driving the car and I lost acceleration. Came to a hill and car wouldn’t accelerate up so had to apply brake. I turned car off and tried to start again and wouldn’t start (no sound of starting while turning key). Couldn’t even get the car out of park. Had to call tow truck and have it towed to my house. Any ideas?

1. Check the battery condition - a load test is the best way.
2. Lift the passenger carpet, remove the aluminum cover, and use a large 12-volt light bulb as a test light to make certain that you are getting power thru each of the fuses (they con't look like fuses) and connections. A voltmeter is not an adequate test.
