S600 Faulty codes problem
Hi all,
I have a S600 Biturbo 2004, after this winter standing in the garage it has given me some problem.
As I shall take it out for the summer we notice the battery was dead as the garage guy has forgotten to turn of the indoor light. Well, no problem we start it up but after that incident the car start to act strange. It like go to limp mode and lost the “kick-down” sometimes on the roads. I took it to a dealer and we clean all the faulty codes and go out again to make a new reading. I provoke it so we can get new codes and we got: P2033 (Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor 2) and P2318 (Ignition coil 6 circuit Low).
I went to my workshop and they say it’s the TCU or/and EDU who not working properly. I not fully agree with them, do any one “out there” have any experience or knowledge what it can be or where to start looking. The car has a ECU upgrade from Kleemann and work good as garage it for the winter.
In the same time I wonder if anyone have the OEM-number for the TCU and ECU who fits a Mercedes Benz S 600L V12 Biturbo 2004. 5-Tronic (722.6)
Thanks in advance and all info will help.

HI Lars,
Its was long time ago for you, but it's present for me... have identical fault with identical car, so I was wondering whether you managed to fix it or I just bought your car ;-)
Regards, Radek

Error in pressure sensor reading on intake manifold
It seems the car is assuming there is an error in one of the pressure sensors installed in the various locations in the intake manifold locations. Check all the tiny rubber hoses and wiring connectors.
